Maharishi Vedic Science is the science and technology of consciousness. It has its source in the ancient Vedic tradition of India. The term “Vedic” is derived from the Sanskrit word “Veda” which means “knowledge” — knowledge of the field of pure intelligence that is the source of all the diverse fields of knowledge.
Maharishi Vedic Science allows exploration of the full range of life and human potential — and the underlying intelligence that administers the entire universe. It also applies this knowledge to enrich all fields of knowledge and endeavor.

Who am I? Where do my thoughts come from?
The seers of Vedic tradition looked inside themselves to find answers to questions like: “Who am I?”, “Where do my thoughts come from?”, “What is the source of my creativity?” They found that underlying their thoughts, perceptions and actions is a field of pure intelligence, a field of Being, of “I am”.
A non-material field underlying change
Similarly, modern physics has concluded that underlying the diversity of matter is a non-material field whose self-interactions generate time, space and observable forces and particles. Both approaches identify a non-material field that underlies observable change.
“This state of pure knowledge, when knower, known, and process of knowing are in the self-referral, is that all-powerful, immortal, infinite dynamism at the unmanifest basis of creation. This is Vedic Science—all about the knower, the known, and the process of knowing; all about consciousness, both in its self-referral, self-interacting state, and as it expresses itself in the infinite variety of the whole creation, that performance of nature which goes on and on eternally in all spheres of time, past, present, and future. The knowledge of this most basic principle of life—the self-interacting dynamics of consciousness—is the science of pure knowledge, the science of Veda.”
